Regarding barrier performance, Aerosol Retention Efficiency (IEST RP CC003.2) is considered the optimal laboratory test for clean room fabrics, an application with critical barrier performance requirements. This test measures the filtering efficiency of fabrics to airborne particles in a range of .5 to 10 microns. Click on the standard below for graphs of the results.
